"Not talk about it.".
I haven't written in months, because there is not much to write about. Amistism is simple, basic and natural. But it requires some
difficult retraining of the mind, to get your intentions back to where they belong. I have been happily busy being an Amitist. I have been nurturing my
relationships with all living things in my life, and since my religion is not economic, political or theological, I don't waste any time or fear on those things.
And because I am taking care of the real part of my life, the part that is truely me and you, I am happier than I have ever been. I hope you are living Amitism,
and am happier for it.
One unusual thing about Amitism is that it a religion that advocates evangelism. As a matter of fact, it discourages public (as opposed
to interpersonal) discussion of the religion. Amitism is interested in relationships, that is where life occurs, and therefore it spreads one person to another,
not on social networking sites, or blogs, or in infomercials. Amistism is something YOU do, and something you share with another person, not just anyone..
I am writing publicly here, and I don't feel good about it. I offer this information to you, but I hope you will accept it as the gift as given,
or forget it. Amistism isn't trying to grow and spread except to the extent that it becomes a blessing for someone you love and care about.
But it isn't for everyone, and it is not important in a spiritual sense that it grow and spread.
Amitism isn't interested in world politics, or national issues, not in taxes or policy or what is popular and what is cultural.
Amitism is about how you interact with another sentient being, plain and simple. Its a religion that lives, that you practice 24/7, it is personal and intimate.
Previous blog entries for your reading pleasure.
